WHO WE ARE
Kindle Africa was formally established in 2016 as a social impact organisation dedicated to changing stories of individuals and low-income communities through strategic and sustainable approach to poverty eradication.
We work directly with vulnerable women and children in slums, providing them with welfare, education and hands-on skills to move from poverty to economic stability. Our ultimate goal is to eradicate inter-generational poverty in urban slums by equipping disadvantaged women and children with vocational and life skills for improved socio-economic conditions so that they can live better lives, and change their communities.
…eradicating poverty in Africa
providing sustainable solutions to poverty through education, care and
inspiration for women and children in urban slums
So far over 2,500 slum women have been reached through our grassroots initiatives, many of who have become self employed and have enrolled their children in schools. In the past one year, we have also raised funds to enroll 47 children in community schools and provided basic educational needs for them. To achieve our aim, we provide an inclusive platform for volunteers and funders. We also leverage on partnerships to equip individuals and communities with skills necessary for improved socio-economic conditions.
Kindle Africa works in pursuit of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals of ending poverty and hunger, ensuring equitable and inclusive quality education and promoting sustained full employment and economic growth for all by 2030.
