Adult Education for Women
Undoubtedly, low level of education is the singular most obvious of the multi-dimensional and symbiotic root causes of poverty.
Enrolment rates for children are consequently minimal in low-income communities where husbands are underemployed and wives are unable to support their families.
With the knowledge that increased levels of education provide greater opportunities and increased incomes, Kindle Africa works to ensure that women in poor communities are given educational opportunities for reduction of poverty. This equips them with basic numeracy and literacy skills needed for daily communication and business transactions. It is believed that this would arouse the women’s interest to provide education for their children.
Empowering women is not just the right thing to do, it’s the smart thing to do
